Good Evening Everyone,

Everyone is probably getting home, tired out and ready to hit the sack.  It was a gorgeous weekend in the White Mountains and it was apparent that many decided to spend the long weekend in our community.

It seems that Garage Sales and Open Houses were the order of the day.  Saturday the main drag was lined with signs for both, many a combination of the two.

I had a Garage Sale/Open House myself and we had good attendance.  Many took the time to tour my Open and expressed an interest in buying, if not that house but something.

There are plenty of nice homes on the market and it is doubtful that that number is going to decrease too much in the near future.  Still many foreclosures hitting the market but an interesting observation is that they are listed much closer to the actual market value in many cases.  The Banks have finally started realizing that by selling at such low prices, they have hurt themselves.

Prices are great, interest rates are still desirable, but the whisper of inflation is in the wind.  We have already had some minuscule increases in our market and in the larger markets that trend is even more apparent.  Don't miss out on perhaps your last opportunity to get a nice home at a great price.  Land is at it's lowest price in our area in years so if you are thinking of building, this is a great time to buy.
