Good Afternoon Everyone,

And here you thought Arizona was a desert!  Well it is but this is High Desert and we have trees, four seasons, flowers, & cool weather here in the White Mountains.

I took this photo Sunday morning along a road not too far from my home in Lakeside.  The field behind is featured on my welcome page.

Remember the quality of life isn't measured by the things you have but the things that take your breath away.  This was one of those mornings, this field was so brilliant that it was almost blinding.

If you haven't visited the White Mountains there is no better time to come than late summer and early fall.  The weather is outstanding, the colors are breathtaking and in a couple of weeks you can take a drive over toward Sunrise Ski Area and see the Aspen Trees changing.

In case you haven't guessed yet, fall is my favorite time of year.  I just had to share my reason why.
