GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

I am somewhat of a dummy when it comes to financial markets and the stock market etc. and while all the news this week scared the begeebers out of me, I didn't understand it very well.

This morning on the CBS News website there is a great article about what happened this week and how close, really close, our country came to a complete financial meltdown.  Very near or perhaps worse than what happened with the Great Depression. 

I can't reprint the article because it is copywrited but please go to the CBS News Website and read it for yourself.  It sure helped me to understand what nearly happened and how it came to be.  I am still not economist and I don't understand it completely but it helped me to understand what happened this week and how close we came to a complete economic collapse in this country.
