Good Afternoon Everyone,

While it still feels like winter in many parts of the Country, there are small signs that Spring is coming.  If you have had your home on the market through the winter months, my guess is it is looking a little worse for the wear.

Even if you aren't quite ready to get out and plant those Spring flowers, there are many things you can do to spruce up the exterior of your home.  Start by looking at the driveway and the entry.  Is the driveway a little beat up?  Are there drainage rills running through it?  Did the plow man pick up some of your gravel and now you have bare spots?  I know the answer to that question at my house is a resounding YES!

How about some of last years leaves and pine needles?  Do you need the yard raked and cleaned up?  Are there the remnants of last year's plants still in the flower beds and now they are nothing but dry stalks?

The Buyers are venturing back in to the marketplace now so keep in mind that your Curb Appeal is the first thing those buyers see when they drive up to your house.  Even just picking up dead twigs, branches, and raking a bit can improve the front appeal a lot.  It shows pride of ownership that you care enough to get out on the first nice days in early Spring to clean up and spruce up so your home looks appealing in the neighborhood and to those potential buyers.

Hope this friendly reminder is useful to you.  Have a wonderful week, until next time.....
