HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I don't know about the rest of you but I have to say that seeing the end of 2008 didn't bring any tears to my eyes.  It has got to be one of the worst years I can remember in my 55 years.  Oh I'm sure there were a few that were equally as bad, but none have been so widely publicized as this one.  Thanks to our wonderful media, we are all convinced the "End of Days" is upon us!  NOT!!!!  We will survive this and come out stronger for it.

As for Real Estate News, believe it or not things aren't as bad out there as the media would have us believe.  For Buyers there is loan money out there, and for First Time Homebuyers, the market is ideal. 

Sellers who have realized that the days of huge profits are gone and who are willing to sell within the price structure of today's market are selling their homes.  If a property is overpriced compared to others in the area, if just isn't going to sell.  No amount of marketing, begging, pleading, open houses or any other marketing promotion for a property cannot overcome the fact that it is priced above everything else in the area.   A property will only sell for what a buyer is willing to pay for it and in today's market, that price is much lower than most sellers would like to see.   

For you Buyers, that is good news and the time to move is now.  Interest rates are down again and may go even lower.  If we can somehow convince potential buyers to get off the proverbial fence post and in to the marketplace again, everything else will follow.  Real Estate is the foundation for today's economy.  If it is dead, everything else is bound to follow.  So get out there and get back in the game.  There is still no better way to build wealth than through Real Estate.  Yes, prices are down right now, but if you aren't planning to move within the next five years or so, there is not a better time to buy a property.  Prices are the best we have seen in many many years and aren't likely to go much lower.  Once they start climbing again, they are going to climb fast.  If you miss this window of opportunity there may not be another one for a long long time. 

So let us help you.  If you want to buy a home, we can help you find the right lender, the right inspector, and guide you through the process.  If you want to sell, let us help you price your property right and help you find the buyer for that property.  We are here to help, just remember our motto
