Pinetop White Mountain Blog

Good Friday Afternoon Everyone,

It doesn't seem possible but April is almost over.  That means tax day has come and gone, Easter is over for another year, and Spring really is on the way.

There is still one event in April 2010 that you do not want to miss if you are purchasing your First Home.  The First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit.  It isn't too late but it's a close thing.  You have until next Friday, April 30th, 2010 to pick out your home, get your offer accepted, and escrow opened.  You still have time, but you must move NOW!  Don't let that $8000 in "free" money get away from you!  Just think what a great little nest egg that would be to start your IRA, your College Fund for the kids, or even a nice vacation you couldn't otherwise afford.  Once its gone, it's gone.  There is not even a hint that the Tax Credits will be extended again so don't miss out.  The time to make your move is right now!

Let us not forget you folks who just sold your home and are looking for another one.  You need to get moving too.  There is $6500 with your name on it just waiting for you to make your home buying decision.  The time frame is the same though, you only have a week left to make that decision.

As for loan programs, contact me, there are some really good funding sources out there that will benefit you also.  How does 100% financing sound?  How about an FHA or VA Insured loan at excellent terms?  I got an email today from a conventional lender who is doing 95% loans on second homes.  Lending is getting better, you just need to put aside your fears and jump back in the market.

Real Estate is the foundation of a strong economy.  If housing is moving, contractors are working and spending money on supplies.  This in turn puts retailers back to work because someone has to load those supplies, etc. etc. etc.  The more real estate grows, the more everyone else can get back to work.  They in turn spend money for cars, appliances, HDTV's etc.  and the snow ball effect starts to happen.

So get out there, get looking, get choosing, and get that new home in escrow.  Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity for the US Government to give you money just for buying a home.

I look forward to hearing from you this weekend.  My phone is on, the text message is working, and my email is just waiting to hear from you.  Get in touch with me today and let's get moving.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone, until next time.
