Good Friday Afternoon,

It is finally starting to feel like Spring in the High Country.  We have had such a cold winter that anything above 30 feels like a heat wave.  Our Spring windy season will start soon but that is okay because that means the really nice weather isn't far behind.

This is a great time for investors to get back in the Real Estate game.  Prices are at their lowest levels in a decade, in some cases prices are back to premillennial levels.  Yes, that's right, back to the 90's price points. 

You have a window of opportunity right now, before the Spring and Summer Buyers get back in the marketplace, to pick up a couple of nice properties at great prices.  Rentals have always been at a premium in the White Mountains and while there are lot of them being offered, they are mostly people who are trying to avoid foreclosure by asking someone else to make their house payments for them.  Most locals can't any more afford those high payments than their owners can.  They need affordable housing and right now that is possible to find some nice places at great prices. 

We get calls in our office every day for people looking for affordable rentals.  We do not do Property Management in our office but we have companies we can refer people to who are looking for rentals.  We get a lot of calls from people wanting to find a Seller Carry House too, but in truth they are just looking for a place to live and they don't have the cash to do a Seller Carry.
