Good Afternoon Everyone,

Well, it has been a long time coming but it finally is starting to feel like fall in the White Mountains.  I haven't been up there yet, but they say the Aspens up around Greer are just beautiful this year.  The Oak Trees are finally turning yellow and soon the leaves will fall. 

So what does that mean to you?  It means if you are a Buyer this is a great time to take a look for property.  You can come to the High Country and enjoy the change of scenery and the crisp cool weather.  There are still some good buys out there with more properties hitting the market every day.  One of the agents in my office just listed a wonderful little property down in Show Low for a very reasonable $225K.  It is a two story, two bedroom cabin in the Show Low Country Club Manor.  She was showing me the pictures of it yesterday, just a wonderful little place.

I noticed several other really pretty cabins have hit the market this past week.  Fall is a good time to look for those little charmers.  People who have used them this summer and have decided that it is time to sell often put them on the market late in the season.  So take a look and let me know when you would like to see some of them.  The bulk of the summer buyers have retreated to the warmer climes down in the flat lands, so the pickings are good, prices are the best we have seen in years, and there is still a great selection of properties out there just waiting for the right buyer to come along.

As for those of you who are locals, people who live and work on the mountain year around.  If you are paying rent and you have a good job, now is a great time to look at property.  Interest rates are so low that the last time they were this low, the "I Love Lucy" show had just premiered on the tele!  Do you know how long ago that was?  That was so long ago even I have only seen the re-runs. 

Thinking about relocating or maybe starting a business?  There are plenty of spaces available and what a great time to get started, just before the Holidays!  By the time you are really up and running and ready to go, the next season will be upon us.  Hopefully by next year we will start to see some building going on again and the economy improving.  If you are an entrepreneur, want to live in the High Country, and are ready to rock and roll.  Give me a call.  I can get you to the people who can help you make that dream happen.
