Good Afternoon Everyone,

I know you have heard this statement many many times from countless sources but are you listening to the message?

It really is a Great Time to Buy!  In many places prices have dropped to below pre-boom days and in many cases to mid-90's prices.  I am seeing listings hitting the market for less right now than they were when I started selling Real Estate in the White Mountains in 2002. 

I just saw an outstanding deal the other day on a single family house in a nice neighborhood price below what I paid for my home in 2003.  This property was actually in a nicer neighborhood than my own and it's a corner lot within walking distance to a lake.  Does that sound like something you might like?

If it does, that is just one example of some of the fantastic buys that can be found in your market when you have the right agent working for you. 

For local buyers, now is the time to get out there and get moving.  The year end deals are hanging around yet because the weather hasn't turned cold and the sellers are hanging on to the hope that they might be able to sell before year's end.

Even if you know you won't be able to use that cabin in the woods until next summer, don't wait until then to start looking.  I can absolutely guarantee you that if you wait, the prices are going to be higher in the Spring.  They always are.

So dig out that warm jacket you have stashed in the back of the closet, put on some boots and come on up.  Let's get started on finding your White Mountain's getaway cabin.
