Good Afternoon Everyone!

I have been watching things pretty close this week and all the indicators are that it is a great time to Buy a Home, but make sure you find a good lender first and get your interest rate locked.  All the signs point to rates going up as a result of the volatility of the Stock Market, High Gas Prices, and continued negativity in the press about the Economy. 

Not all news is good, but not all of it is bad either.  The bottom line, as I've said before, it's a great time to buy as long as you plan to stay put for a few years.  It is going to take some time now for the economy to stabilize, and for the Real Estate Resale Market to make any significant gains.  But, prices are also about as low as they are probably going to go too.  People who need to sell are just about at their bottom dollar limit now.  They may have a little wiggle room left and they will look at offers, just make sure the offer is a fair one for current market conditions.  

You best bet now is find a good REALTOR® to help you find the right house, at the right price, and make your move.  Don't wait, because if interest rates keep climbing, the house you can afford today, may become out of reach tomorrow.
