Good Afternoon Everyone,

I know, it has been ages since I posted here but I have been busy!  The sales volume jumped a great deal this week with the late summer house buyers hitting the mountain in force. 

I'm not sure what spurred the surge but it has been wonderful to see the buyers back in the marketplace.  In about a week and a half the pending sales numbers jumped from 162 properties pending to 214.  That is a huge jump in a week's time.

What does that mean, it means that if you are still thinking about buying your mountain home the time to make the move is now.  It won't be long before many of those homes that haven't sold through the summer will disappear from the marketplace.  The sellers will close them up for the winter and you won't see them again until next Spring and I can guarantee you that when they come back on the market they are going to priced higher.

Even though the economic news you hear on the news stations is not real positive, Buyers are again starting to see the value in Real Estate.  No, they aren't paying those high prices we saw earlier in this decade but they are finding some very good values in our communities. 

Time waits for no one and neither will that house or cabin you have had your eye on all summer.  If you wait it may disappear forever from the marketplace.  Things change, circumstances change, homes sell, or the Sellers just decide it isn't the time to sell.
