Good Saturday Morning Everyone,

Well, the first heavy snows of the season have fallen in the White Mountains.  I took this picture early yesterday morning before anything had disturbed the snow fall.  Pretty but very deep.  Had about 2' of the white stuff in Lakeside, Arizona.

The sun just came out for the first time in two days.  It is almost blinding!  I don't expect the sunshine to last long, we are in between storms.  Another one is expected to drop in here this afternoon.  Right now it is nice to have a little break from it.  Time to get out and get those errands done before the next storm hits.

All this is good news for the skiers and the snow boarders.  Personally I could do with a little less at one time, but I guess I would rather see white on the ground in the winter than huge wildfires in the summer. It also puts us in the Christmas spirit.

Got to get the hubby out of his chair and get the tree put together so we can get our decorating done this weekend.  I still have shopping to do but it will have to wait until next week I think.  Not doing too much of it this year anyway.  We don't need much and I'm determined not to spend a lot this year.  A few little things to put under the tree and in the stockings and that will be it. 

Anyway, wanted to let you skiers know that it won't be long now before the shushing can begin.  I'm not a skier, never had an opportunity to learn considering I spent most of my life in my younger years in the desert southwest.  That is okay though, at least it brings business to the mountain and helps our local economy.
