HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Today is Halloween and it won't be long now before we are thinking about Turkeys, Stuffing, & all the trimmings for Thanksgiving.  Typically, this is the time of year people stop thinking about buying Real Estate and focusing instead on the family get togethers and buying presents for Christmas. 

I am here to remind you that this is sometimes the BEST time of year to think about buying Real Estate.  Sellers start getting really worried about now thinking the snow is going to be falling soon and they will be stuck with their properties until Spring, so they get really motivated to sell.  Sellers want to get those homes sold before the snow flies so they can get on with their lives and be ready to celebrate their own Holidays with their families. 

Another benefit is that lenders are less busy, as are Title Officers, so they are likely to scramble to help you get that loan closed so you can spend your Holidays in your new home.  Remember, Loan Companies, Title Companies, and Real Estate offices don't roll up the sidewalks and close the doors through the winter months.  Everyone is eager for business and because it is a slower time they can give you more attention and better service.

Think about it.  All the advertising this year is focused on getting you to spend your hard earned money on presents and goodies for the Holidays.  When the Holidays are over all you have to show for all that spending is bills.  Wouldn't it make more sense to put that money toward something you will be able to enjoy for years to come, not one day?  If you are even thinking about buying a property, now is the time to get serious about it.  Put all that money you were going to put toward something to unwrap in Christmas morning in to something you can decorate and enjoy every year from now on.
